Why are sprouts so nutritious?
Since seeds can’t make energy through photosynthesis or suck up nutrients through their roots, they need to have all the energy and nutrients they will need for their first few days of life stored up. The beauty of sprouts is that you can grow them yourself! They only need water and warmth to germinate, so you really can’t go wrong. Since they can often be harvested in just a few days, you can sow seeds a few days apart to keep a constant supply of sprouts going.
What do I do with them?
Sprouts are easy to use in cooking! They can be eaten raw or cooked. You can toss them into a salad, use as a garnish or even add to a stir fry!

1. Prepare Germinator - Rinse the Super Sprouter Germinator with cold water.
2. Rinse Seeds - Place your chosen seeds in the Super Sprouter Germinator and fill with fresh cold water to rinse the seeds. Secure the cap over the opening and then drain the water out immediately.
3. Soak Seeds – Once rinsed pour enough cold water into the Super Sprouter Germinator to cover the seeds. Move the seeds around in the Super Sprouter Germinator to make sure all the seeds are well covered & the sprouter is facing upright. Soak the seeds for the allotted time according to your chosen seed instructions.
4. Growing / Rinsing – After soaking the seeds make sure to rinse the seeds at least twice a day and ensure that you place your Super Sprouter Germinator on a dish with the cap pointing downwards at an angle to allow any remaining water to drain out. This is when your seeds start to sprout!
5. Harvest Seeds - Harvest fresh, crunchy shoots and sprouts 3-8 days later!
6. Clean – Rinse and clean thoroughly after use.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
How much is delivery?
For all orders $85.00 or over (excluding shipping) within Australia shipping is FREE. Our delivery fees are a flat $8.95 for less than $85.00 within Australia. We can also ‘Express Post’ your package for a flat fee of $15.00.
All international orders are shipped via Australia Post. The rates are competitive and the shipping fee depends on weight and location. Delivery will be calculated at checkout and starts from $10.00.
How do you package orders?
Our packaging is as minimal as possible. We always use recycled boxes and use Sendle for our mailers. Sendle provide 100% carbon neutral shipping and all their mailers are compostable. If you receive any white 'plastic beans' in your order these are cornstarch peanuts. We don't buy them, we receive them from suppliers and keep them moving around the globe. They are 100% biodegradable and dissolve in less than a minute under water. We'll wrap your product if we think it needs it to be kept safe for transport.
How does 1st Nature choose brands and products to stock?
1st Nature only sources and stocks the best clean beauty, skincare, wellness, plastic free and home and lifestyle products with a huge focus on Australian made, local products. If I wouldn’t recommend it to a client as a naturopath, I won’t sell it. Australia has amazing natural and native ingredients and incredible products, so I want to support local brands wherever possible.
Are you cruelty-free?
100% YES. Every product will be free of animal testing and is a key criteria in anything sold on the site. We also stock an extensive range of vegan products across clean beauty, plastic free & wellness.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Paypal, Credit Cards, and GooglePay. I will happily take phone orders if you prefer to pay over the phone. Please note I don't store your payment details and we never write your card details down if you ring us and order over the phone.
