Traditional Chinese medicine & dry skin
In TCM, the skin is nourished by the blood. When there is a blood deficiency, TCM believes that dry skin can develop. Dry skin is often present in skin conditions such as mild eczema because affected skin has a reduced ability to retain moisture.
Dong quai improves skin health
Dong quai is traditionally taken to enhance blood health in TCM, thus relieving skin dryness to improve skin health. It’s also traditionally taken in TCM to help support the regeneration of the skin, and to reduce mild allergic skin symptoms including hives.
Japanese catnip relieves mild eczema symptoms
Japanese catnip is used traditionally in TCM to relieve symptoms mild eczema and hives, and to calm itchy skin.
Burdock reduces dry, scaly skin
A commonly used herb in Western herbal medicine, burdock is traditionally taken for the relief of mild psoriasis symptoms such as dry and scaly skin. Burdock is also traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to support the body’s natural detoxification of wastes via the skin.
Recommended Dosage
Adults: Take 2 capsules, two times a day or as professionally prescribed.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
How much is delivery?
For all orders $85.00 or over (excluding shipping) within Australia shipping is FREE. Our delivery fees are a flat $8.95 for less than $85.00 within Australia. We can also ‘Express Post’ your package for a flat fee of $15.00.
All international orders are shipped via Australia Post. The rates are competitive and the shipping fee depends on weight and location. Delivery will be calculated at checkout and starts from $10.00.
How do you package orders?
Our packaging is as minimal as possible. We always use recycled boxes and use Sendle for our mailers. Sendle provide 100% carbon neutral shipping and all their mailers are compostable. If you receive any white 'plastic beans' in your order these are cornstarch peanuts. We don't buy them, we receive them from suppliers and keep them moving around the globe. They are 100% biodegradable and dissolve in less than a minute under water. We'll wrap your product if we think it needs it to be kept safe for transport.
How does 1st Nature choose brands and products to stock?
1st Nature only sources and stocks the best clean beauty, skincare, wellness, plastic free and home and lifestyle products with a huge focus on Australian made, local products. If I wouldn’t recommend it to a client as a naturopath, I won’t sell it. Australia has amazing natural and native ingredients and incredible products, so I want to support local brands wherever possible.

We accept Paypal, Credit Cards, and GooglePay. I will happily take phone orders if you prefer to pay over the phone. Please note I don't store your payment details and we never write your card details down if you ring us and order over the phone.
